The 2001 Rafael Nadal tennis season was Nadal's inaugural professional tennis season. Although he did not participate in any top-flight ATP tournaments, he did enter several Challenger Series and Futures events. Due to his low rank, Nadal was not yet qualified for appearances at the major tournaments.
