The 2003 Cyprus International Tournament was the sixth of the Cyprus International Tournament. The matches were held on 12 and 13 February 2003 in Cyprus, between hosts Cyprus, Romania, Russia, and Slovakia. The tournament was played in a cup format, with only four games played (two semi-finals, a final, and a third-place match) and it was won by the Russias after beating Romania 4–2 in the final.[1][2][3]

Summary[edit]

Played on 12 February, the first match put hosts Cyprus against Russia, ending in a narrow 0–1 loss to the Cypriots.[1] In the final, they faced a Romania side who had beaten Slovakia 2–1. Russia won with a 4–2 win.[4]
