The 2009 Perak bus crash was an accident that happened in Malaysia at 1:23 am on 26 December 2009 on a Sani Express bus which carried 48 people.
The incident happened when the bus was heading from Klang to Kangar. It skidded and crashed into the divider of Malaysia’s North-South Expressway in Ipoh, Perak, which resulted in ten passengers being killed.
The driver of the bus, Mohamed Kamil Mohamed Rashid (37), was charged with reckless driving.[1]
