The 2015–16 Sussex Senior Cup (also known as the Sussex Senior Challenge Cup) was the 128th season of the annual knockout tournament for competitive football teams in Sussex, a historic county of England. It was sponsored by Parafix, and was known as the Parafix Sussex Senior Cup for sponsorship purposes.[2] The defending champions were Whitehawk, having defeated Lewes 5-0 in the previous year's competition, but they were eliminated by Worthing in the semi-finals.
The winners were Eastbourne Borough, who beat Worthing 1-0, in the final on 20 May 2016.
Third round[edit]
Prior to the third round there were two rounds. In the first round 34 clubs played over 17 ties. A further 15 clubs joined the competition in the second round and 16 ties were played. The third round consisted of 8 ties between 16 teams and were played between 8 December 2015 and 19 January 2016. East Grinstead Town withdrew at the third round stage as they had fielded an ineligible player.[1]
