The Iowa Hawkeye Wrestling Team represents the University of Iowa in college wrestling. The Hawkeyes compete in the Big 10 Conference. The Hawkeyes were led by coach Tom Brands and hold their meets in Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.
Iowa Attendance Record[edit]
Iowa and Oklahoma State met in the first college wrestling meet held in a Division I football stadium.[1] An NCAA attendance record of 42,287[2] showed up to watch the Cowboys take on the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa.
