On 18 November 2015, a man killed two Bosnian soldiers in the Sarajevo suburb Rajlovac.[2][3][4][5] Witnesses say the man walked into a betting shop and shot and killed the two soldiers, before exiting and firing on a bus, causing flying glass to injure the driver and two passengers.[2][5] Another soldier and a female employee of the shop were wounded.[4] The shooter reportedly wore a headband with Arabic writings on it and shouted "Allahu akbar" during the attack.[3][4] After a manhunt, police cornered the attacker in the building where he lived early on 19 November, whereupon the attacker committed suicide by detonating two explosives.[4] Omeragic's neighbours said he had recently become an adherent of the ultra-conservative Salafi Muslim movement.[1]
The attacker was identified as Enes Omeragić.[1]
