2015 Springfield, Missouri mayoral election

The 2015 Springfield mayoral election was held on April 7, 2015. Steven Reeds challenged incumbent Libertarian mayor Robert Stephens. Stephens was re-elected mayor of Springfield, Missouri by a margin of 27.46 percentage points.[1]
Background[edit]
Stephens first became mayor of Springfield in 2012, taking the place of incumbent mayor Jim O'Neal after the latter's resignation. In 2013, Stephens ran for mayor with no opposition. He announced in 2016 that he would not run again in 2017.[2]
