2016 Houston fire
The 2016 Houston fire was a disaster in the United States in which a four alarm fire occurred on May 5, 2016 at Custom Packaging and Filling Company in Spring Branch, Texas[1] near northwest Houston.[2]
The Houston Fire Department asked nearby residents to shelter in place until 2:00 PM that day. Students from nearby Spring Branch Elementary were removed using eleven busses to transport the students, faculty and staff to Coleman Coliseum.[3]
