The 2016 K-Love Fan Awards presentation ceremony was held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. The ceremony celebrates the excellence and impact of musicians and other figures within the Christian music industry and faith-based entertainment for the year 2016.

Background[edit]

On January 20, 2016, Elisabeth Hasselbeck made the announcement on Fox & Friends that she will be co-hosting the 2016 K-Love Fan Awards ceremony alongside Matthew West.[1] The awards ceremony was slated for June 5, 2016, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.[2] K-Love also opened official nominee selection to the fans by way of online voting.[3]

Nominations announcement[edit]

On May 9, 2016, K-Love announced that the unveiling of the nominees for the 2016 K-Love Fan Awards would be done via the K-Love Radio Facebook page.[4] The nominees were announced on May 10, 2016, through video messages posted every hour on the K-Love Fan Awards Facebook page.[5]
