2016 Moscow beheading
In the morning of 29 February 2016, the nanny of a two-year-old girl in Moscow, Russia, murdered the child and set fire to the flat. When asked to show identity at a metro station, she chanted "Allahu Akbar", pulled the child's head from her bag and threatened to detonate explosives. She was wrestled to the ground by police and taken into psychiatric care.[1]
The suspect was Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, born in 1977 in the Uzbek SSR.[1]
