Three men attacked an off-duty soldier near a military base in Marseille. The soldier was knocked to the ground after several blows were incurred, and he fell unconscious. He was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.[1]
Attack[edit]
A serviceman who was not in service, was assaulted on February 3 at 6 pm, while he was on a street in the XV district in Marseille (Bouches du Rhône). This first private class, dressed in civilian clothes was boarded by four strangers, came driving a Renault Twingo. After uttering insults against him, especially in relation to his condition of military, the four questioned were thrown upon him before taking it without apparent reason, several blows.[2]
