On March 30, 2017, Scoot Flight 188, a Boeing 787, and Emirates Flight 405 / EK405, an Airbus A380 were involved in a minor collision at Singapore Changi Airport.[1]
The left wing of the Scoot aircraft came into contact with the Emirates aircraft while it was taxiing before take-off.[2] No injuries and fatalities had been reported on both Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A380 aircrafts.[1] Both airlines had subsequently rescheduled and replaced another aircraft for affected passengers.[1]The Air Accident Investigation Bureau of Singapore classified the occurrence as an incident and instituted an investigation.[1]
