The 2019 Big 12 Championship Game is a college football game that will be played on Saturday December 7, 2019 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The 18th Big 12 Championship Game will detrimine the 2019 champion of the Big 12 Conference.
This will be the third time since 2010 that the conference champion was determined in a championship game. Formerly the Big 12 Championship Game was played between the champions of the North And South Division. Without a current Big 12 Divisional Structure, the game is played between the two teams with the best conference records.
Previous season[edit]
The 2018 Big 12 Championship Game was the second since the conference's realignment. Televised Nationally by ABC. The game featured the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns. In the Regular season This was Oklahoma's tenth appearance and the Texas Longhorn's Sixth appear appearance in the regular season the Longhorns beat the Sooners 48–45 Handing Head Coach Lincoln Riley his first Conference loss. In the rematch between the two teams. Oklahoma won the Big 12 Championship over Texas 39–28 for it's 48th Conference title.
