A recall petition in the United Kingdom House of Commons constituency of Brecon and Radnorshire is expected following the conviction of its MP Christopher Davies for false expenses claims.

Background[edit]

Christopher Davies was charged with false expenses claims, pursuant to the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009.[1] He pleaded guilty in March 2019.[2][3] Under the Recall of MPs Act 2015, all convictions related to expense claims automatically trigger recall procedures.
