The 2019 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 7, 2019, in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, to determine the 2019 football champion of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The game will feature the East Division champion against the West Division champion. The West Division champion will be the designated home team. The game will be televised by CBS for the nineteenth straight year.

2018 season

In the 2018 SEC Championship Game, the West champion Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the East Champion Georgia Bulldogs 35–28 in a rematch of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. From eleven months prior where Alabama beat Georgia 26–23 in Overtime. This was the first time that a rematch of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game that was played as an SEC Championship Game.
