The 2020 Big Ten conference football season will be the 125th of college football play for the Big Ten Conference and is part of the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season.
This will be the Big Ten's seventh season with 14 teams. The defending league champion is Ohio State. The 2020 season will consist of a nine game schedule for the fifth year in a row..[1]

The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated Wisconsin Badgers, 34–21, in the Big Ten Football Championship Game. The win gave the buckeyes there third straight Big Ten Championship.

The Big Ten will conduct it's annual media days on July 28-29 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL it will be televised on the Big Ten Network

Only one head coach was hired during the offseason Rutgers rehired Greg Schiano as head coach who coached for 11 years from 2001-2011 Replacing Chris Ash who was fired after four years at the school.
