The 2020 Sun Belt Conference football season will be the 19th season of College Football play for the Sun Belt Conference. It will be played from September 3, 2020 until January 2021. The Sun Belt Conference consists of 10 members in two divisions. It will be part of the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Entire Schedule was released on February 28, 2020.[1].

Previous season[edit]

In The 2019 season The Appalachian State Mountaineers finished the season with a 7–1 Conference Record and the Louisiana Rajun Cajuns also finished with a 7–1 Conference In the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game being it was the 2nd ever meeting Between the Mountaineers and Rajun Cajuns in a rematch of last years game won Again By Appalachian State 45–38 held again at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

The Sun Belt media days will be held on July 27 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA.

Head Coaches[edit]

There was only one coaching change at the end of last season On December 8, 2019 Appalachian State Coach Eliah Drinkwitz left to take the head coaching job at Missouri. A few days later. Shawn Clark was promoted to Head coach.
