The 2020 Bukavu L-410 Crash occurred on August 13, 2020, when a Doren Air Congo Let L-410 Turbolet crashed on approach to Kavumu Airport in Bukavu on a flight from Kalima. None of the two passengers and two crew onboard survived.[1] After the airplane failed to arrived at Bukavu as scheduled, a search was begun, and was initially unsuccessful due to low visibility, but wreckage was eventually found in dense forest three nautical miles west of Kavumu airport.[2][1]
