2020 COVID-19 Relief Checks

The 2020 stimulus checks are large sums of money given by the United States Federal Government to provide aid due to mass unemployment caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Intial Check[edit]
The first check given by the Federal Government, summed up to $1,200 USD for citizens in most need. The criteria to get the largest amount included:
- Must make under $99,000 USD a year as an individual.
- Must make under $198,000 USD a year as a couple.
An additional $500 dollars per child was included in the bill to support parents bearing children.
Other exceptions included those who are individuals and make between $75,000 USD and $99,000 USD received reduced payments. It is believed that for every $100 dollars your annual income increases, $5 dollars is taken off from your check.
