The Ghana Movie Awards is an annual event celebrating the achievements of actors, directors, producers, writers, technicians, and other personalities in Africa's filmmaking industry.[1]
In 2020, the Ghana Movie Awards was held virtually for the first time on December 30.[2] Prominent winners included Van Vicker, Bernard Adusei Poku, and Roselyn Ngissah. The films Heroes of Africa and Yvonne Nelson's Fix Us were among the top winners at the 10th edition of the GMA.[2]
