On Thursday, June 11, 2020, a series of shootings occurred in Paso Robles, California. Preceding the event, a suspect, named Mason Lira, was wanted after being accused of shooting a deputy in the face the preceding day. Throughout, several officers were wounded by the suspect over time. The suspect was wounded and later died. A homeless man was also found dead.[1][2]
