The 2020 WGC-HSBC Champions is scheduled to be a golf tournament played from 29 October – 1 November 2020 at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, China. It would be the twelfth WGC-HSBC Champions tournament, and the fourth of four World Golf Championships events held in the 2020 calendar year.
In July, the status of the event was put in doubt when China effectively cancelled all international sporting events for the remainder of the calendar year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
