2021 Haitian coup d'état attempt

On February 7, 2021, supporters of the opposition against incumbent Haitian president Jovenel Moïse allegedly attempted a coup d'état.[1] Moïse ordered the arrest of 23 people.[2]
According to the opposition, Moïse's term as president was supposed to end on February 7 2021,[2] but Moïse claims that his term doesn't end until 2022.[3]
