2022 FISU World University Championship Orienteering
2022 FISU World University Championship Orienteering was the 22nd edition of the FISU World University Championship Orienteering, held from 17 to 21 August 2022 in Biel/Bienne and Magglingen, Switzerland.
Overview
The event brought together around 250 student-athletes from approximately 27–29 countries, competing in sprint, middle-distance, long-distance, relay, and mixed sprint relay events. Switzerland hosted the championship, with competition areas spanning the historic old town of Biel/Bienne for the sprint and surrounding forest terrain for the distance events.
Results
Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, and France won every gold medal, with Germany's Colin Kolbe the only athlete outside these four nations to reach the podium, taking bronze in the men's sprint.
