On 1 August 2022, a Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter, which was on flood relief operations in Lasbela area of Balochistan, lost contact with Air Traffic Control.[1][2][3][4]
The six military personnel, including Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali died in the crash.[5]
Early investigations attributed the crash to poor weather conditions.[5]
