Accident[edit]
The flight PK-605 was carrying 53 people, including crew members, from Islamabad to Gilgit. On arrival in Gilgit and upon landing the aircraft suffered a considerable gear failure which led to the pilots forcing the plane to skid the aircraft of the tarmac to stop immediately as the airport runway is short. It is still unclear that whether the fault was in the aircraft or it was due to pilot error. [2]
