2022 Syrian building collapse

On August 7, 2022, 11 people were killed and at least two injured when a building collapsed in Aleppo, Syria. The head of the Aleppo city council, Muid Madlaji, said that the building was illegally built and had weak foundations. Several nearby buildings were evacuated due to fears they might collapse as well.[1]
