The second United Nations Ocean Conference (abbreviated UNOC2) was a United Nations conference held in Lisbon, Portugal from 27 June–1 July 2022, which sought to mobilize action for the conservation and sustainable use of the oceans, seas, and marine resources. The conference was the second of its kind, following the first Ocean Conference in 2017 in New York. It was jointly organized by Portugal and Kenya.[1]
