2023 IGLFA World Championship

The 2023 IGLFA World Championship is the 24th officially recognised world championship event for the IGLFA and was held in Sydney, NSW, Australia from 20 to 23 February 2023. The tournament was co-hosted by the Sydney Rangers Football Club, the Flying Bats and Pride Football Australia.

Close to 300 participants from 5 countries forming 17 teams including defending champions West Hollywood participated in the tournament which featured 4 divisions; Men and Non Binary Divisions 1 and 2, and Women and Non Binary Divisions 1 and 2.

In the Men and Non Binary Division 1 Final, defending champions West Hollywood Eclipse beat the host team Sydney Rangers Blue 4-0.

Tournament Structure

Men's and Non Binary Competition (MNB)

Placement rounds were carried out in two groups with the top 2 finishers of each group competing in knock out rounds for the division 1 championship and the remaining teams competing in knock out rounds for the division 2 championship.

Women's and Non Binary Competition (WNB)

Teams were seeded into Division 1 and 2 groups with all teams proceeding to knockout rounds within their own divisions.
