2023 Pakistan Super League will be the eigth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The tournament is traditionally held in February and March of each year. 2023 Cricket World Cup was scheduled to be held in the same window.[1] [2]However, International Cricket Council has moved the worldcup to October-November.[3][4] This move was to allow for the eigth edition of PSL.[5][6] Given this dedicated window, It will allow PSL to secure more lucrative sponsorship deals, given lack of competition.[7][8]
