22:22 is the debut extended play (EP) by Israeli singer Yuval Raphael. The EP was released on October 19, 2025, by the record label D-Music.
Background and announcement
Following Raphael's second-place achievement at Eurovision 2025 with the song "New Day Will Rise," she formed a band led by producer Amos Ben-David. She performed extensively in Israel and abroad and began collaborating with prominent creators such as Tal Castiel, Liam Hachmon, and Dean Elbaz.[1]
On October 8, 2025, Raphael announced the release of her EP. It marks her first musical move following the major international exposure on the Eurovision stage and is described by her as a personal, spiritual, and exposed project. The EP includes three original songs, two of which were co-written by Raphael.
The Album
In a post on the artist's Instagram page, she explains that the album's title, "22:22," expresses a statement of deep personal and spiritual significance for her. This meaning was significantly strengthened following the events of October 7, during which she survived the massacre at the Nova Festival. Raphael shared that this sequence of numbers has appeared before her eyes consistently for about two years, and that in "angel numbers," it signifies "you are on the right path." According to her, this message served as a driving force and a belief she held onto to cope with the trauma and move forward "with calmness, quiet, and serenity." She even defined the number as a motif that accompanies her and "paves the way" for her.
The EP includes three original songs, two of which were co-written by Yuval Raphael in collaboration with other creators, including Tal Castiel, Liam Hachmon, and Dean Elbaz. The songs, in a modern Israeli pop style, deal with themes of coping, vulnerability, love, hope, and healing:.
