2paragraphs is a nonpartisan American online news aggregator and blog founded in 2012. The site is named so for presenting every article in 2 paragraphs with the purpose of presenting concise knowledge to its readers.[1] The site offers news, blogs, reviews, interviews and articles on politics, business, entertainment, technology, popular media, lifestyle, culture, and news in 2 paragraphs.[2]

History

2paragraphs was co-founded by Mary Fichter and Joseph Mackin in 2012. Joseph Mackin was the original Internet Editor of The Paris Review, he also built an internet database referral service PerfectYourself.com, which was purchased by Renaissance Media/Red Spot Interactive. Mary Fichter was the Director of Marketing & Communications for the National Academy Museum, American Craft Council, and OgilvyOne worldwide. She has an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA in Political Science from Purdue University.[3]
