300 Crore Club is an unofficial designation in the Indian cinema by the media and trade, related to Indian-language films that have net ₹300 crore (3 billion Indian rupees) or more in India after deducting the entertainment tax.
PK (2014) was the first bollywood movie to hit the milestone.[1] Since then, only 8 indian films have managed to cross the mark. There are 6 film directors have made it to the 300 Crore club. Ali Abbas Zafar and Rajkumar Hirani are current highest holders with two films each. As a lead actor, Salman Khan (3) leads with the highest number of movies in this elite club.[2]
