Formation and History[edit]
322 Medium Regiment was raised on 14 Oct 2009 as a field artillery regiment at Clement Town, Dehradun with an All India All Class composition. The unit laid its founding stone under the able guidance of Col Ramit Mehta (first commanding officer).
From the time it was raised, the regiment has mastered four different equipments, has experience in serving in Counter Insurgency / Counter Terrorism Operations, Line of Control environment, Line of Actual Control, High Altitude as well as peace tenures.
