36th Street station (Market Elevated)

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". 36th Street station is a former station of the Market Elevated (now the Market-Frankford Line) in Philadelphia. It was at the intersection of 36th and Market streets. The station opened in 1907 as part of the first portion of the Market elevated, built by the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company (PRT).[1] It was removed in 1955 as the elevated segment east of 46th Street was to be replaced with a subway.[2]
