3D Printer Chat is a media portal with a team of journalists and authors, providing a dedicated resource for everyone interested in 3D printing.[2][3]
History
3D Printer Chat was founded in December 2015 by Håkan Fägnell.[4] Since its launch, the mission of 3DPC is to report on and create content about the latest developments in 3D printing, to be the first to report technology breakthroughs, the latest applications, and the opinions of industry insiders.[2]
In March 2020, 3D Printer Chat started The YBN Award, which is given to a 3D Printing technology innovation each year in December.[2]
3D Printer Chat is listed on all major streaming services that offer podcasts. Chris Garrett is the interviewer on the podcast. The podcast is also edited by Chris Garrett and Håkan Fägnell.[5][6]
Services
3D Printer Chat offers daily news delivery from the 3D Printing industry.[7] It helps YouTubers and influencers from the 3D industry through giveaways and visibility.[8]
Controversy
A scandal erupted over the site's giveaways, created with YouTubers in 2017, where some participants claimed that YouTube never sent out the giveaways.
