4:2:Five EP is the debut EP by American a cappella band VoicePlay. The album was self-released in 2001 under their earlier band name 4:2:Five. James May, Earl Elkins Jr., Layne Stein, Geoff Castellucci, and Scott Porter are listed as members inside the album cover. Produced, recorded, and mixed by Jeff Thacher, with assistant engineers Layne Stein and Earl Elkins Jr.. Mastered by Bob Katz at Digital Domain. Photography by Debb and Steve Walker. Art design by Stein & May. Arrangements by Castellucci and Stein. The album cover is a solid blue with only the band's name at the time "4:2:Five" overlapping with the lighter blue letters E.P.. The back of the album has cartoon representations of all five members.
