4RO:20 is a studio album by American rapper Afroman, and it was released on December 14, 2004. The same day that his compilation The Hungry Hustlerz: Starvation Is Motivation was released. The title is a reference to 420. Which is slang for marijuana and hashish consumption, and Afroman is well known for smoking weed.

Promotion

Afroman began promoting this album on his website in 2004 with no exact release date other than December 2004.[1] His website also included a forum named 4RO:20 Message Board, named after this album where people could talk about Afroman. An image on the side of the website can be seen with Afroman wearing the same shirt and hat as seen in the 4RO:20 album cover. The top of the website also included the text "The official website WHERE IT'S ALWAYS 4RO:20"[2] another reference to the album. It was also marketed as "Afroman's latest tribute to the national pasttime...".[1] Later on it was changed to say "This is the latest tribute to the national pastime so get your head straight and head straight to the sto' to buy 4RO:20"[2]
