4 Hutton Centre

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

4 Hutton Centre Drive (also known as Lakeside Tower at MacArthur Place) is an office building in Santa Ana, California. It is said to be one of the more prominent office buildings in its area of the city.[1] The 10-story office tower is located in Santa Ana's Hutton Centre business campus, on the southwestern edge of the city next to Costa Mesa, where the San Diego Freeway (I-405) and Costa Mesa Freeway (55) meet.[1] It is located on Hutton Centre’s 4.5-acre (1.8 ha) man-made lake (Lake Hutton), situated directly across from the two newly completed MacArthur Skyline residential towers built by Nexus.[1]

Completed in January 1988, the 234,000-square-foot (21,700 m2) structure [2] is situated on 2.7 acres (1.1 ha) of land. It features expanses of rose-gray laminated glass and polished red granite, imported from Argentina.[3][4]

The internationally styled building was designed by Leason/Pomeroy & Associates, and built by the Orange County development firm Hutton Development Company in conjunction with Dinwiddie Construction Company as the primary contractor.[3] In conjunction with its 640 car parking structure, 4 Hutton Center cost $35 million (1988) to complete.

In April 2007, 4 Hutton Center was sold to Foster City-based real estate investor group Legacy Partners Commercial for $64 million, or $305 per square foot.[1]
