Tony Eason (4ox!), born Anthony Charles Eason is a 21 year-old singer-songwriter & producer from Christchurch, New Zealand.

Tony has had a passion for all things music since a young age and has been messing around with digital audio workstations since he knew they existed. Starting out under the persona ‘December Ends’ creating music of a pop-punk style. Now he has just begun a brand new journey of production under the name ‘4ox!’ and is already finding success mixing his musical interests in electronic music with his punk vocal sound.

Inspiration from upbringing

From a young age Tony was introduced to a life of music. His first inspiration was his grandfather (Tony Craythorne) who would sing and play various instruments at family events alongside other family members. At the age of 7 Tony's Grandfather bought him a Ukulele which he loved and became the first of many instruments Tony learnt. His Mother (Elizabeth Eason) now a singing teacher inspired him to test his vocal limits and create the unique sound he has today.

Music Inspiration origin

Tony grew up loving 80s rock and bands such as Bon Jovi, He also enjoyed alternative music like Talking Heads and eventually Blink-182 and other bands leaning more toward the pop punk style. In 2008 Tony discovered his first digital workstation FL Studio and also discovered Darude, Basshunter and other electronic artists pushing him further into the digital realm of music. Tony's First full music project 'December Ends' started in 2016. December Ends is in full Pop Punk style following his love of bands like Neck Deep and Blink-182
