977 Music is an independent online free radio provider, based in the United States.[2] The company was formed in 2000 by Jeff Bachmeier as an alternative to terrestrial radio.[2] As of 2009, 977 Music offers 16 live streamed radio stations and has more than two million monthly unique visitors.[2] 977 Music radio stations are supported by the Car Internet Radio service offered by Livio, a supplier of Internet-radio products for the home and car audio aftermarket.[3]
