9dolls Was The Second Japanese Girl Group (the first being SoulGirls) of Starfish Entertainment. They Are The First Group Of The Company To Have The Graduation System Enforced. The Group Originally Debuted With 9 Girls.

2009-2010; Debut, Early Success, Debut Album

Starfish Was Getting Ready To Create Their 2nd Japanese Girl Group So SoulGirls Could Have A Sister Group. They Found 9 Trainees All Over Japan.

They Officially Debuted With The Song “Gossip Girls”. It Was A Huge Success Hitting #1 It’s First Week. The Video For The Song Got 14 Million Views By The End Of The Year.

At The Japanese Music Awards They Won Rookie Of The Year.

In 2010 They Came Back With Song “A”. This Song Skyrocketed On The Charts. They Were Known For Their Sexiness.

In Late 2010 They Returned With 1st Full Album titled “Rainbow” with the title track “Jumping”

2011-2012; Lineup Changes, Global Success, American Debut, Lineup Changes

Starting off 2011 Members Sayashi & Ikuko Graduated from the Group. This Lead Members Momo & BabyJ To Be Added.

They Cameback In The Summer of 2011 With Song “Run Devil Run” & “Genie”. This Marks The First Release With New Members Momo & BabyJ.

In Late 2012 They Dropped The Song that would skyrocket their careers into stardom. “Lovey Dovey” Was The Song That Got The Club Moving They Sold 100,000 Records The First Week Of Promotions.

In Summer 2012 They Debuted In America With An English Version Of “Lovey Dovey” & “Genie”. They Promoted In America For 2 Months, Dropping Their First English Album “Funky Town” with the lead single “Sexy Love”.

After American Promotions Were Over, They Came Back To Japan With Song “Flashback” it would be the final release with members Yuka And Sayaka.

In December Yuka And Sayaka Officially Graduated From The Group. With New Members Yuzuki & Miharu Joining

2013-2016; Comeback, Chinese Debut, Jaekyun’s Departure, Lineup Changes, Japanese Comeback, Group Hiatus

In 2013 They Drop Their 2nd Japanese Album Titled “Playgurlz” With Title Track “Because Of You” It Marks Their First Japanese In Over A Year.

In Summer of 2013 They Drop Song “One More” and “First Love”. Which Both Songs Became Major Successes.

In Late 2013 They Collabed With Their Sister Group SoulGirls with song “I Wanna”.

Summer 2014 They Debuted In China With Song “Little Apple”. They Go On To Release Their First Chinese Album Titled “Day By Day”.

September 24, 2014. Jaekyun Officially Parted Ways With Starfish And The Group. She Was The First Member To Not Graduate From The Group. She Was Actually Removed From The Group Permanently After Chinese Promotions Were Over.

They Found Drugs In Her Dorm Room and was fined over 100,000¥. She Was Blacklisted From The Label Permanently.

2 New Members Were Added. Miyuki & Kanami were added to the group. They Cameback in Late 2015 With Song “So Crazy”

They Were Announced To Take A Hiatus For A While.

In Late 2016 Members Momo & Akumu & Yūka Graduated From The Group.

2017-2019; Official Comeback, Chinese Comeback, Members Leaving, Group Hiatus

After 3 Years, 9dolls Returned With The Song “Bboom Bboom”. With Their 3rd Album titled “The Best”. This Album Had Hit Songs Like “Really Bad Boy” & “Do It Again”

In Late 2018, They Returned To China For One Last Time with the song “What’s Your Name” with one final Chinese Album “Again 1977” with their Chinese Contract Ending.

In 2019 Members Asana, Miharu, Koharu, Yukina All Graduated From The Group Sending Them Into An Indefinite Hiatus.

2021-Now; Comeback, Full Album, World Tour

In 2021 All Original 8 Girls Returned With The Comeback Song “Rollin”

They Dropped Their 4th Album In 2022 With Title Track Being “Love Dive”

In 2023 They Released Their Comeback Album “HORN” With The Title Song “ILLELA”

May 2023 They Are Scheduled To Make A Comeback To Music.

April 14, Will Be The First Show Of Their 3rd Dolls In Asia Tour. It Will Be Their First Tour Since 2014
