A. J. Walkley

A.J. Walkley is an American author and blogger.[1]

An out and proud bisexual activist, Walkley hails from the U.S. state of Connecticut in the United States, where she was born and raised before moving to California. She is the author of such titles as Queer Greer[2] and Choice[3] - both young adult fiction. She is a blogger for The Huffington Post, mostly writing for their Gay Voices section.[4] She currently writes out of Arizona.

Walkley earned a B.A. in English Literature with a double minor in Creative Writing and Film Studies from Dickinson College in 2007 before heading into the U.S. Peace Corps as a health volunteer in Malawi. Upon her return to the States, Walkley worked as a reporter for the Fairfield Citizen News in Connecticut before heading to New York City to become a United Nations Correspondent.

Walkley is currently editing her next book, titled Vuto, inspired by her experiences in the Peace Corps. Walkley also has an ongoing project in script and book-form, based on the life of Texas inmate Elizabeth Burke.
