A. K. Qureshi (5 May 1937 – 10 January 2017)[1] was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Judge or Barrister in Dhallywood films.[2]
Career[edit]
Qureshi was also known as a sound editor. Besides, he was a founding member of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation and also served as the Director of Foreign Programmes at Bangladesh Television. He appeared in films like Chittagong: The Last Stopover (2000), Ononto Bhalobasha' (1999) and Keyamat Theke Keyamat (1993). He was also seen on two episode of American thriller X-Files.[3]
Bangladesh Television[edit]
A. K. Qureshi surved as a sound editor and a high-ranked officer in film section of Bangladesh Television for a long time.[4]
Death[edit]
Qureshi passed away at the age of 79 in a hospital of Los Angeles, United States. He was survived by his sons Faisal Qureshi, Farhad Qureshi and daughter Kanta Qureshi.[5]
