A3 Artists Agency was founded in 1977 by Harry Abrams.[1] He began his career in the talent agency business in 1958 in the MCA mailroom, went into business for himself by the early 1960s and eventually launched Abrams Artists Agency in New York in 1977. He opened his L.A. branch in 1982.

In September 2016, A3 promoted two veteran senior agents to Justin Baxter and Domina Holdback to Vice Presidents in the Los Angeles talent division.[2]

In 2018, A3 Artists Agency was acquired by Robert Attermann, CEO; Brian Cho, President; and Adam Bold, Chairman.[3][4] The agency which was known as "Abrams Artists Agency" rebranded as A3 Artists Agency. [5]

In December 2020, A3 hired Marc Kamler a former Agency for the Performing Arts agent, as a partner agent in the licensing and branding division.[6]

In March 2022, A3 added Matt Sorger a former ICM Partners agent, as a senior agent.[7]
