Adom Samuel Opoku (born 23 May 1994) popularly known as AD DJ is a Ghanaian disc jockey and a creative curator.[1][2] He was nominated as the Best Campus DJ of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards in 2016 and 2017.[3][4]
Early life, education and career
Opoku was born in the Oti Region of Ghana. His parents moved to the capital city Accra where he had his elementary and basic education. He continued at St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast for his senior high school education where he started showing interest in disc jockeying.[1]
In 2014, he participated and emerged winner of YFM's Campus DJ Search Competition. He earned the spot to join YFM as a DJ of the radio station for the past years. He has worked at Berla Roma, Kristal, Plot 7, Twist Nightclub and currently with FrontBack (Accra) as a resident DJ.[1]
You Know The Fuckin Vibe
You Know The Fuckin Vibe (pka YKTFV) is a music party experience by AD DJ that seeks to connect basically everyone with music from Ghana and beyond. AD DJ treats listeners to a diverse selection of music from all around the world, including Amapiano, Hip-Hop, R&B, AfroBeats, UK Drill, Dancehall, and Reggae.[5][6]
