Anthony Joseph Salvatore (born April 17, 1996), known professionally as AJ Salvatore, is an American DJ, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Long Island, NY.[1] He primarily produces EDM-pop music and began his career in Orlando, Florida.[2]

Education

Salvatore is an alumnus to Full Sail University, where he studied and earned a bachelor's degree in recording arts.[3]

Career

After releasing his debut track "Sojourn" in June 2017 with TrackRecord AI under Universal Music Group, he went on to break into the Spotify Viral 50 with his sophomore release "Better" on Lá Tropical,[4][5] on which he collaborated with artists Bri Tolani and Fluenceel.[6] The record also peaked at No. 19 in the US, No. 21 globally, and No. 49 in Taiwan on Spotify Viral 50.[7][8][9][10] This led to him signing two tracks, "Ignite" and "Alone", with the Sony-distributed label Herø Records, which is spearheaded by Logan Henderson.[11][12][13] Salvatore released his first official remix on July 13, 2018, for the Canadian electronic dance music duo Paris & Simo, for their track "Fire Away" on Physical Presents.[14] His next official remix was released on December 7, 2018, for Canadian DJ, singer-songwriter and record producer Shaun Frank, for his single "Bon Appétit" on Ultra Music.[15][16] Salvatore then went on to have his first charting release, when Albanian-American singer, entrepreneur, and actress Bleona released his remix to her single "Monster" on 418 Music.[17] Bleona's version of Monster had hit No. 12 on the Billboard dance club singles chart.[18]
