Steven Javier Garcia Gerpe (born May 12, 1998), formerly also known as ALECTO or "alectobeats", is a Spanish German-born record producer, composer and record executive. He is best known for posting musically educational content on video platform YouTube and his frequent collaborations with French record producer CashMoneyAP.
Early life[edit]
Garcia was born in Lüdenscheid, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany on May 12, 1998. He started his career by producing for German artist "Sierra Kidd" and thereby landing his first placement in the German album charts.[1]
Career[edit]
Garcia has produced beats for artists such as NLE Choppa, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, and more[2]. He started to gain mainstream attraction after producing NLE Choppas' song "Famous Hoes", which peaked at number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Other ventures[edit]
In early 2017 Garcia founded the production collective SaucierSquad[3]. Its roster includes record producers Midnight7k, Kerano, YMAR, SoulStealer, and DonLusso. It is a subsidiary of the record label Garcia is signed to, CashGang
