AME Zion Girls Senior High School also known as ZIGHIS, is an African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church senior high day and boarding school for girls located at Winneba in the Effutu District, Central Region of Ghana. It runs courses in business, general science, general arts, home economics and visual arts, leading to the award of a West African Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE).[1][2]

A.M.E. Zion Girls’ Senior High School started in October 2003 in Winneba.[1][2] It was established through the joint efforts of the J. C. Price Cathedral A.M.E. Zion Church in Winneba, led by the Late Rev. Dr. Godfred Ngoli Zormelo, who served as Pastor and Senior Bishop Deputy of the Western West African A.M.E. Zion Church, and in partnership with the Ghana Education Service, Winneba District Office, headed by Frank Swanzy Essien.[1][2] It started with only 5 students.[2]
