Aamir Sharma , known professionally as AMiR, is an English singer songwriter and actor born in North London. His father is from Punjab, India and his Mother is from the Midlands...[1] He's a multi-instrumentalist who plays drums, guitar, bass and keys.

Influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars he played Michael Jackson in a touring production from 2011 until 2013, showcasing his dancing and vocal range.[2] [3]

Since beginning a solo artist career he has worked with Grammy award-winning producers including Peter and Daniel (Matoma, Galantis, DFA) and Patrick Patrikios (Little Mix), and is currently releasing under his own label Amslice Records distributed by AWAL.[4]

In 2017 he released "All Or Nothing" which was featured as BBC Introducing’s ‘Track of the Week’ in October 2017[5] and entered the Urban Club charts at #17. The track was remixed by Mark Baigent and Element Z who have worked with Beyonce and Clean Bandit and Monsieur Adi who has also remixed Lana Del Ray, Ellie Goulding and Bastille [6]

In 2017 he did an extensive tour of UK universities as part of the Coffee House Sessions.

At the start of 2018 AMiR was shortlisted as one of BBC Asian Network’s Sounds of 2018[7] [8] and his track "No One Else" was playlist by the Network in March 2018 [9]
